Dyslexia Assessment (face to face)


Price £575 (Age 8 to adult)

During a full diagnostic assessment, a series of tests will be carried out to formally identify and diagnose dyslexia.

The 2-hour assessment will explore:

  • Language and Reasoning Skills

  • Phonological Awareness

  • Reading, Spelling and Writing

  • Speed of Processing and Retrieval

  • Memory and Attention

A dyslexia assessment report will follow, offering a clear picture of the individual’s strengths and areas of challenge.

The detailed report will outline the learner’s profile and provide practical, personalised recommendations for

  • Home

  • School / College

  • University

  • Exam Access Arrangements

It can also be used to support applications for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), workplace adjustments, or study support where needed.

The written report is designed to help families and educators understand the next steps and put effective support in place.

Kathryn is a fully qualified dyslexia assessor and one of the leading professionals in her field. Based in Maidstone, she brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of learning differences.

Kathryn has previously been the Course Director of the PGCE in Specialist Teaching and Dyslexia Assessment at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), where she trained teachers and future dyslexia assessors to the highest professional standards.

Remote/Online Dyslexia Assessment


Price £575 (Age 13+)

Please see above but the assessment will take place online.

For a remote assessment, you will need a computer with a large screen (15" minimum), webcam, and microphone as well as good internet connectivity.

A pen, paper, and a quiet room is also essential. Teenagers will need an adult available to help them to set up the assessment online. 

A remote assessment takes around 2 hours to complete and this is usually split into two sessions online.
