Kathryn is a fully qualified dyslexia and dyscalculia assessor and one of the leading professionals in her field. Based in Maidstone, Kent, she brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of learning differences, supporting children, young people, and adults across Maidstone, Kent, and the South East of England.

Kathryn has previously served as the Course Director of the PGCE in Specialist Teaching and Dyslexia Assessment at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), where she trained teachers and future dyslexia assessors to the highest professional standards. She is currently an Honorary Academic at CCCU, sharing her expertise in dyslexia, dyscalculia, and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) across the wider university team.

Her extensive classroom and higher‑education background provide a grounded, up‑to‑date understanding of both school and university environments. This enables her to make tailored, practical recommendations that genuinely support learners with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and co‑occurring difficulties.

Kathryn is passionate about helping individuals access the specialist support they need to thrive—whether they are experiencing challenges with reading, writing, spelling, memory, maths, or processing skills. She is equally committed to sharing her knowledge with teachers, students, and local schools, ensuring that the professionals around each learner feel equipped with practical tools and insight that make a meaningful difference.
